Welcome to devhandicraft.com. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of this website and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by them.

2. Products

All products are handcrafted by Newar artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal, using traditional methods. Because each piece is handmade, slight natural variations in size, weight, colour, and detailing may occur between the product photographs and the item you receive. These variations are a feature of genuine handcrafted work, not a fault.

We make every effort to display colours and details accurately, but slight differences may appear due to photography and screen settings.

3. Pricing and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP. We are not currently VAT registered. If this changes, our VAT number will be displayed here. Delivery costs, where applicable, are shown at checkout. Payment is processed securely through Stripe and PayPal. We do not store your full card details on our own systems.

4. Orders

When you place an order, we send an order confirmation by email. This confirms we have received your order, but it does not guarantee acceptance. A contract is formed once we confirm your order has been dispatched. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order, for example if an item is unexpectedly out of stock, in which case you will receive a full refund.

6. Returns and Refunds

Please refer to our Returns & Refund Policy for full details. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including product photography, descriptions, and design, is the property of Dev Handicraft and may not be copied or reused without our permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

We aim to ensure our website and products meet a high standard, but we do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Beyond this, our liability for any claim relating to your order is limited to the value of that order, and we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss.

9. Events Outside Our Control

We are not responsible for delays or failure to meet our obligations where this is caused by events outside our reasonable control, including customs delays, natural disasters, strikes, or other disruption to international shipping routes.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. General

If any part of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply in full. These Terms, together with our Shipping Policy and Returns & Refund Policy, represent the entire agreement between us regarding your order.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
