Refund and Returns Policy
We want you to feel completely confident in your purchase. This policy explains your rights and how our returns process works.
Change of mind (14 day cooling off period)
Under UK consumer law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, for any reason, without needing to explain why. Simply email devhandicraftworld@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery, and you will then have a further 14 days to send the item back to us.
To qualify for a change of mind return:
- The item must be unused and in its original condition.
- It should be returned in its original packaging where possible.
- Return postage is paid by you, the customer.
Once we receive the item back, we process refunds within 7 days, well within the 14 day maximum set by law.
Damaged, faulty, or not as described
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or does not match its description, please contact devhandicraftworld@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery, along with photos where possible. In these cases, we cover your return postage, and you are entitled to a full refund, repair, or replacement.
Custom or personalised pieces
Items made or personalised to your specific request, such as a custom inscription, are excluded from the change of mind right above, as they are made specifically for you. This does not affect your rights if the item is faulty or not as described.
How refunds are issued
Refunds are returned to your original payment method. Please allow a few additional days for your bank or card provider to process the funds back into your account.
This policy sits alongside, and does not affect, your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
